Johnny Depp, Amber Heard Hold Hands at Rolling Stones Concert
On the downlow no more? Johnny Depp and Amber Heard took a big step in their ultra-private romance during a surprise Rolling Stones concert at Echoplex in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 27. The actor, 49, and his Rum Diary costar, 27, were among the many stars to turn out for the big show from Mick Jagger et al -- joining the likes of Gwen Stefani, Mary-Kate Olsen, Owen Wilson, Maria Shriver and others. And though it wasn't exactly a red carpet, Depp and his love were snapped holding hands in the crowd.
It's been a less-than-traditional road for the pair, who first met while making Rum Diary back in 2011. After a long estrangement, Depp and love Vanessa Paradis announced the end of their 14-year relationship last June, with insiders confirming his budding, hush-hush romance with Heard soon thereafter.
And things are stronger than ever for the quirky, romantic pair. Depp's latest gesture for his lady? "He had a bar built on his Bahamas property to look exactly like the one in The Rum Diary," one pal recently told Us Weekly. "The movie's set designer created the plan." Depp surprised Heard with the bar during a vacation to his private island in April.
