LAS VEGAS (AP) — A star of the reality TV show “Pawn Stars” has agreed to a plea deal sparing him jail time in the discovery of guns, marijuana and other drugs at his Las Vegas home.
Austin Lee Russell, who’s known on the show as “Chumlee,” pleaded guilty May 25 to felony weapon and misdemeanor attempted drug possession charges.
The unannounced appearance last week before Clark County District Court Judge Jessie Walsh made a scheduled Wednesday court date unnecessary.
Russell has to undergo counseling and complete three years’ probation to get the felony charge dismissed. That would leave just the misdemeanor conviction on his record.
Russell was arrested March 9 after police found weapons, pot, anxiety medication and some methamphetamine at his home.

Abuse Allegations and What's Next in Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's Divorce

Abuse Allegations and What's Next in Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's Divorce: All Your Questions Answered

How will Amber Heard's domestic violence allegations against Johnny Depp affect their divorce? In a new statement on Tuesday, Heard's lawyers said she is "a victim of domestic violence" who decided not report her alleged abuse to police who responded to a 911 call on May 21 in order to "protect her privacy and Johnny's career." In their statement, Heard's attorney Samantha F. Spector and co-counsel Joseph P. Koenig added, "Johnny's team has forced Amber to give a statement to the LAPD to set the record straight as to the true facts."
Depp's divorce attorney Laura Wasser contended in court documents that Heard is "attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse."
Heard, 30, was granted a temporary restraining order against Depp on May 27, after alleging in court papers that the 52-year-old actor physically and verbally abused her throughout their four-year relationship. The allegations came four days after Heard filed a divorce petition on May 23 citing irreconcilable differences and requesting spousal support from Depp. Here, legal experts weigh in on the latest questions surrounding the evolving case.
How Do the Abuse Claims Affect Divorce Proceedings? Experts say that although the domestic violence allegations may not result in a court awarding Heard a higher sum in divorce proceedings, they do give her an advantage in negotiations. "It won't affect the money. It's not like [Heard] gets more [spousal] support because of a domestic violence claim," Los Angeles-based attorney Ambrosio Rodriguez tells PEOPLE. "But what she does have, from a strategy point, what she has over him now is something to make him settle quick, as opposed to dragging it out."

Family law attorney Stephanie Blum echos Rodriguez's statements, telling PEOPLE that the allegations allowed Heard to get a court hearing sooner that she would have otherwise. "So, if [Heard] is looking for [Depp] to pay her spousal support or pay her legal fees, making these allegations too would allow her to have those requests decided on by the court within weeks," she says. On May 27, a judge denied Heard's request for temporary spousal support.
What About Heard Not Reporting the Alleged Abuse to Police Right Away? In court documents, Heard claims Depp pulled her hair and hit her with a cell phone on May 21. A source close to the actress previously told PEOPLE that responding officers encouraged Heard to make a statement about the alleged incident, but Heard declined because she was too shaken up.
Although the source told PEOPLE that officers saw Heard's wounds and trashed house the night of the incident, an LAPD spokesperson told PEOPLE that responding officers found no evidence of a crime.

On Tuesday, Heard's attorney Spector and co-counsel Koenig issued a statement elaborating on their client's reasoning and saying her "silence has been used against her by Johnny's team." "Amber did not provide a statement to the LAPD in an attempt to protect her privacy and Johnny's career," Spector and Koenig said. "Johnny's team has forced Amber to give a statement to the LAPD to set the record straight as to the true facts, as she cannot continue to leave herself open to the vicious false and malicious allegations that have infected the media." "In reality, Amber acted no differently than many victims of domestic violence, who think first of the harm that might come to the abuser, rather than the abuse they have already suffered," the lawyers' statement continued.
Rodriguez tells PEOPLE that only about 15 percent of domestic violence victims report the abuse. "It is very common for domestic violence victims to delay reporting their abuse," he says. "As long as she can explain why she delayed in reporting, it should not hurt the case." Could Depp Face Criminal Charges, and if So, What Are the Possible Repercussions? "It is rare for the D.A. to file criminal charges in a domestic violence case when the police do not arrest the alleged perpetrator," says Blum.
The chances of charges being filed are "slim," adds Rodriguez, "in light of the fact that police didn't find any evidence." If Depp were to be charged with a felony and convicted, "the minimum punishment would be three years of felony probation, a 52-week anger management class and fees and fines of over $2,000," says Rodriguez. "There would also be a lifetime ban on owning a firearm and he would lose all the rights that come from being a felon. There would also be a criminal protective order in place that would make it a crime for him to contact her in any way."
How Might Depp's Celebrity Affect the Case? "Everything is altered because he is one of the most famous movie stars in the world," says Rodriguez. "I expect LAPD and the D.A.'s office to be extra careful before moving forward." What Does Depp's Initial Response Mean? Depp's lawyer, Laura Wasser, said in court documents that Heard made the accusations "to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse." "His court filings state he is out of the country and had not 'heard' the 'specific' allegations," celebrity divorce lawyer Jonathan Wolfe tells PEOPLE, referring to Depp's months-long tour with his band Hollywood Vampires.
"That is hard to imagine."

What Happens Next? Experts say the divorce proceedings could proceed quickly – or become a drawn-out battle. Most likely, "[Depp] and his team will want to resolve this quickly," Wolfe says. "That said, since she has already gone public [with abuse claims], she may already have used much of her leverage, harmed his reputation … [Depp] may now be more determined than ever to defend himself against these allegations." However, Wolfe adds, there is hope that the restraining order issue could be resolved without a court fight.
"The final restraining order hearing is scheduled for June 17th," he says. "Since [Depp] is willing to agree to the restraints, don't be surprised if this issue is settled by the parties before the hearing."

John Cena Returns to WWE Raw

John Cena Returns to WWE Raw: Full Preview and Predictions

John Cena returns
JOHN CENA

On Monday’s Memorial Day episode of WWE’s Raw, 15-time world champion John Cena will make his return to the company after being on the shelf since Jan. 7 following shoulder surgery.

Cena’s absence has left a void WWE tried to fill with several Superstars, but there is no replacing the most popular wrestler on the active roster. With almost six months away from the ring, the WWE Universe finally had the opportunity to miss Cena—something that isn’t typically possible when he shows up every week for Raw.

As wrestling fans prepare to get back Mr. Hustle, Loyalty and Respect, here is a full preview and predictions of what could come next for Cena.

Rusev Attacks Cena

Cena’s run with the United States Championship was one of his most successful since leaving the world-title scene, and a return to battle for the secondary title is the kind of depth WWE officials have been seeking since he was injured.

The U.S. title open-challenge matches were some of the best in Cena’s career. While they really never got any of the challengers over—a staple of Cena’s reign as a top star—the bouts were consistently one of the most entertaining parts of Raw each week.

In addition to the U.S. title connection, Cena also has a history with Rusev as his challenger, dating back to their feud featured at WrestleMania 31. With the chance to build Rusev’s credibility by having him feud with Cena—while also returning Cena toward the top of the card—would be a win-win situation for WWE.

Eventually, Rusev will lose the title to Cena after brutally attacking him on Raw and will go right back to the same role as an upper-midcard heel. It could be the short-term storyline needed to return both men to WWE prominence, though.

Cena Enters Himself in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Cena's ideal return would be to a secondary title, allowing him add depth and prestige to each card in which he is booked. WWE has shown an unwavering dedication to the 15-time world champion, and the possibility always looms that he could return to the world-title scene.

The next scheduled WWE pay-per-view is Money in the Bank, and with one spot open in the ladder match for the briefcase, the possibility of Cena throwing his name into the mix will be high. Whether the fans think he should win or not, the fact he would be in the bout would add instant credibility.

For the skeptics, Cena’s involvement in the Money in the Bank ladder match could simply be the vehicle to start a feud. Since Cena doesn’t need to take a pinfall or submit to lose the bout, this would be the ideal opportunity to have a heel attack him during the match and take him out of the finish.

Whether it’s rekindling a rivalry with Alberto Del Rio or Kevin Owens, Cena returning to add prestige to the ladder match, only to be taken out by the man he will have his first true feud against since returning, would make for the best-possible usage of Cena.

Regardless of what he does when he returns, the WWE Universe will be more ready than ever to shower him with a cascade of mixed reactions. Move over Roman Reigns...let Cena show you how it’s really done as Vince McMahon’s hand-chosen top star.

Johnny Depp Steps Out After Lily-Rose Depp and Vanessa Paradis Publicly Defend Actor

Johnny Depp Steps Out After Lily-Rose Depp and Vanessa Paradis Publicly Defend Actor

In the wake of Johnny Depp's daughter and former partner speaking out in support of the actor, the 52-year-old was seen leaving a Frankfurt hotel early Sunday morning.

The star of Through the Looking Glass is currently on the European leg of his Hollywood Vampires tour and most recently played a show in Lisbon on Friday night. Alice Cooper and Joe Perry were also spotted leaving the hotel.

Earlier today, Lily-Rose Depp posted a throwback photo of her father holding her as a toddler on Instagram.

"My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know," she wrote alongside a throwback photo of her dad holding her as a toddler. "He's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same."

Shortly before that, a letter obtained by TMZ allegedly written by Vanessa Paradis made its way online.

"Johnny Depp is the father of my two children, he is a sensitive, loving and loved person," Paradis allegedly penned.

E! News has not yet confirmed the letter, and a rep for the French actress and singer has not returned request for comment.

The handwritten letter continued, "I believe with all my heart that these recent allegations made are outrageous, in all the years I have known Johnny he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years."

Last week, Amber Heard was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order just days after she filed for divorce from the star.

"This is not about right now. It's an ongoing thing that she needs protection from. She did what she had to do protect herself," an insider told E! News at the time.

Our insider added, "It wasn't an easy decision, but this is the truth. It was very hard for her."

Amber Heard could get $20million in divorce settlement

Amber Heard could get $20million in divorce settlement after just 15 months of marriage - as iPhone bust-up with Johnny Depp was 'sparked by a fight over his dying mother'

Amber Heard could get $20million in a divorce settlement with Johnny Depp after just 15 months of marriage, legal experts claim.
The news comes after she was spotted laughing and joking with her lawyer as she stepped out of court on Saturday where she filed for divorce.
She was photographed with a faint bruise on her face after claiming that Depp domestically abused her, allegedly throwing an iPhone at her after a row apparently over his dying mother.
Heard went public after Depp's lawyers rejected her claims for $50,000 (£34,000) a month in support, $125,000 (£85,000) for her legal fees, their LA penthouse, his Range Rover and custody of their Yorkshire terriers.

But the couple do not have a prenup so under California law, she is guaranteed at least one half of however much their combined wealth has increased since they were married.
During that time, Depp was paid $61million (£40million) for his role in Alice Through The Looking Glass and a further $40million (£27million) for starring in Black Mass.

Heard earned $383,000 (£262,000) during the period and cleared $51,000 (£35,000) after expenses, which included nearly $19,000 (£13,000) in business meals.
The row which allegedly ended with Depp throwing an iPhone at Heard started because his children Lily Rose, 17, and Jack, 14 didn't want her at his dying mother, Betty Sue Palmer's bedside, a source claims.
A source told The Sun's Andy Hall: 'Jack and Lily-Rose were certain they didn't want her at Betty Sue's deathbed — and that caused huge friction.
'Johnny told Amber but says she acted ''like a petulant child''. That's when things turned nasty and a huge row erupted.'
Heard was pictured apparently in good spirits as she left her lawyer's building to a waiting limousine.
Heard, who was clasping a laptop computer, arrived at the office at around 3.30pm on Saturday and did not leave until about 7.30pm.

In court documents, Heard alleges she 'lived in fear' of Depp during their 15-month marriage and constantly worried he could return to their Los Angeles condo to 'terrorize me physically and emotionally.'
The actress and her lawyer, Samantha Spector, appeared at the Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles on Friday, where she filed for a domestic violence restraining order.
Depp was not in court for the filing. Instead, the star was playing with his band, the Hollywood Vampires, at the Rock in Rio Lisboa festival.
The first incident she documents in the court files is said to have occurred on her 30th birthday at their Broadway home on April 21 this year, when he turned up late 'inebriated and high'.

A long term friend and neighbor of Heard has given evidence to support the young actress's claims that Depp physically and emotionally abused her.
Raquel Rose Pennington, who has known Heard for 13 years, filed court documents on Friday that claimed she saw Depp 'screaming loudly at her' and wielding a wine bottle 'like a baseball bat'.

In her account, Pennington says that she received a text from the star asking her to come over, and upon arrival, found Heard 'by the couch, covering her head with her arms and hands, as Johnny was loudly screaming at her'.
The shocking statement continued: 'I ran over and stood in between Johnny and Amber, begging Johnny to stop yelling at her.
'I put my hands out in a defensive manner motioning him to stop. Johnny slapped my hands away and screamed foul obscenities at me.'
Pennington added that the Pirates of the Caribbean star then 'picked up a large bottle of wine and began swinging it like a baseball bat' in order to smash 'everything he could', according to the document seen by The Daily Mirror.
Following the incident she says she brought Heard back to her own home.
Pennington had been at the couple's home Saturday May 21, along with friends Elizabeth Marz and Joshua Drew, when Depp came home 'drunk and high' at around 7.15 pm, according to The Daily Beast.

The group then left as Heard tried to comfort Depp over the passing of his mother the day before
A representative for Depp said in a statement on Thursday: 'Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.
'Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.'

Depp was previously said to be jealous by her close relationship to previous female flames, including Cara Delevingne.
It has since been revealed that Heard entered into a domestic partnership to previous partner Tasya Van Ree, and even changed her name to Amber Van Ree in 2008.
Comedian Doug Stanhope has come to the defense of Johnny Depp, claiming Amber Heard had told the actor she was going to leave him and threatened to lie about him publicly 'in any and every duplicitous way' if he did not agree to her terms.
Stanhope said he was inspired to speak out after watching Depp get 'murdered' on social media after pictures of Heard with a bruise on her face, that she alleged was caused by Depp, appeared online and her allegations became international headlines.
The comedian said the minute he heard the actress' allegations against Deep he 'knew it was bulls***t', he writes in a guest column for The Wrap.

Amber Heard has Johnny Depp

Amber Heard has Johnny Depp ‘by the movie-star balls’

He looks like hell, his film career is on the skids, and now his beautiful young wife, Amber Heard, has cocked her flintlock and hoisted the Jolly Roger — keen on doubloons.

Things are looking grim for Captain Jack Sparrow.

“Pirates of the Caribbean” star Johnny Depp has kept up a brave front since Friday afternoon, when Heard accused him in a Los Angeles court filing of being drunk, high, paranoid and violent throughout their 15-month marriage.

Hours after the filing — with Heard still sporting a bruise she claims was caused by Depp flinging an iPhone at her face — the disheveled star puffed on a cigarillo and strummed a guitar as he headlined a music festival 6,000 miles away, in Portugal.

But even the pretty Portuguese groupies — who waved placards reading, “Johnny My Heart is Beating for You,” as bandmate Alice Cooper thumbed through covers of The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix — couldn’t reverse Depp’s run of miserable fortune.

Earlier Friday, Depp’s new movie, “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” in which he plays the Mad Hatter, opened — and promptly bombed.

The movie earned just $9.7 million — along with a measly 28 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film’s 2010 prequel had done far better, taking in $40.8 million on opening day.

But “Alice” would be the least of his recent troubles, which began tragically with the death of his mother, Betty Sue Palmer, 81, on May 20 after a long illness.

The day after her death, Depp visited Heard at their penthouse in LA — the first time they’d seen each other in a month, Heard would concede in court papers.

Depp was drunk and high, and became “increasingly enraged” and “paranoid,” screaming profanities and flinging Heard’s iPhone into her face, she alleges.

Depp was “driven insane” by his suspicion that his openly bisexual wife was having an affair with model Cara Delevingne, the London Sun reported.

Two days after the alleged phone-fling, on Monday — the same day Depp would walk the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of “Alice” — she filed for divorce.

Under California law, Heard is entitled to 50 percent of the household income from their marriage, but Heard wants much more.

She’s demanding Depp’s Range Rover, $50,000-a-month support, $125,000 toward legal fees and possession of the combined three-unit penthouse in downtown LA — scene of the alleged iPhone fling.

The day after divorce papers were filed, Heard’s lawyer, Samantha Spector, doubled down, writing to Depp’s lawyers that if he didn’t agree to a “private and amicable resolution to all matters,” there would be no guarantee of avoiding a media spotlight.

“Although Johnny is extremely wealthy, he refuses to provide me with any direct support,” she complains in her papers, citing her 2015 earnings at a “mere” $260,000 — minus $208,000 in expenses.

When Depp’s lawyers called their bluff by stating “Amber is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse,” Heard went public.

“Honey, you know she’s jonesing for the real money, and she has him by the movie-star balls,” New York divorce lawyer Suzanne Bracker told The Post on Saturday.

“If she keeps talking, his reputation is going to be mud, and he’ll start losing his female fan base,” said Bracker, who has repped the baby mamas of Sean Combs, Ice-T, Damon Dash and L.A. Reid.

“She’s looking for ‘shut-up’ money, which is a premium. He’s going to have to pay her to shut up.”

Team Depp is already counter-spinning — with his ex-wife from the early ’80s, Lori Anne Allison, telling TMZ on Saturday that the star is a nonviolent “soft person” who never even raised his voice.

If Heard is indeed in fear of Depp, she did the right thing to get a protective order, noted Adria Hillman, a New York divorce lawyer whose clients have included Ronald Perelman.

Still, Heard may have done better to keep her abuse allegations closer to the vest for now, she said — as a bargaining chip.

“The threat of this kind of exposure is much worse than the exposure itself.”

Blake Shelton Looks Back At 'The Ups and Downs' Of The Past Year

Blake Shelton Looks Back At 'The Ups and Downs' Of The Past Year

Blake Shelton Looks back at The Ups and Downs of The past Year
Blake Shelton

On Monday Blake Shelton Looks Back At 'The Ups and Downs' Of The Past Year was a top pop story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Friday was big day for Blake Shelton: not only did he drop his 10th studio album, If I'm Honest, he also voices a character in the Angry Birds movie, which opened in theaters this past Friday.

To celebrate, he called in to his Voice co-star Carson Daly's morning show on 97.1 AMP Radio in Los Angeles to talk about both of the above, as well as his relationship with Gwen Stefani.

"I probably wouldn't be releasing another album yet if it hadn't had been for all the ups and downs of the last year," Shelton admitted. "Everybody probably has something they do whenever they get into a low spot or a dark place, and also when things are extra good. For me, it's music. I mean, that's what I do."

"Go Ahead and Break My Heart" is one of the standout tracks on the album and it features Stefani.

"I think I was just trying to impress her-to show her: 'I can write songs too, Gwen!'" he said. "I sent her the song about halfway written. Actually, it was the first verse and the chorus and I sent it to her just on voice memo and about two days later, she sent back the song and she had finished the song from her point of view and it was like, 'Woah! That is nuts!' I mean, we wrote a song together just on, like, text!"

Shelton and Stefani began dating late last year. They come from opposite sides of the musical spectrum and that has led to some cute misunderstandings.

“Two months ago, [No Doubt’s] ‘Hey Baby’ came on the radio and Gwen said something like, ‘Oh that’s wild. I haven’t heard that in a while.'” Shelton recalled. “And she said, ‘You know, we won a GRAMMY for this song.’ And I said, ‘That’s y’all?! That’s you?!’ Because I literally thought that was, like, TLC! And Gwen was so sweet. She was like, ‘Yeah, I guess I can see where you would think that.'”

But these days, Shelton is more well versed in No Doubt’s catalog, and in fact rattled off a number of the band’s biggest hits when Daly quizzed him.

“Of course I knew all those songs, I just didn’t know it was No Doubt that sang them. Some songs are so big. I don’t care if you live in the jungle, you’re aware of [them].”

Tyga, Kourtney and Khloé Join Scott Disick's Vegas Birthday Party: 'Love and Support Is the Most Important' Gift

Tyga, Kourtneyd Khloé Join Scott Disick's Vegas Birthday Party an: 'Love and Support Is the Most Important' Gift

Scott Disick
Scott Disick

Scott Disick didn't need gifts or items or anything to complete his birthday. He just needed family … and he got it.
The reality star headed to Las Vegas on Friday night to celebrate his 33rd birthday party and he had ex Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian by his side, along with Tyga and Malika Haqq.
The group began the birthday celebration in Los Angeles on Thursday, dining at Nobu, but headed to Las Vegas on Friday to hang out at Disick's go-to Sin City club, 1 OAK.

"I got some cool stuff, but I feel the love and support is most important, nothing, like, materialistic," Disick told PEOPLE about his birthday gifts before entering the club.

To begin the evening, the group dined at the Mirage's Stack restaurant. Arriving just before 11:30 p.m., the group walked directly toward the back of the restaurant for the festivities as Keeping Up with the Kardashians cameras rolled.

Upon entering the restaurant, Disick and a Versace-clad Kourtney walked in side-by-side as Khloé chatted on her phone. Tyga walked in to the restaurant before the group and had dinner, but didn't attend the nightclub festivities

Inside the club, the group, who entered the club at 12: 45 a.m., hung out at a private VIP table behind the DJ booth, where they were surrounded by camera crews and security. There, at the same table Disick frequents during his 1 OAK visits, they watched as cocktail waitresses brought out a birthday cake and illuminated lights. (According to Khloé's Snapchat, Disick got another birthday cake earlier in the evening while flying over to Vegas with the Kardashians and Haqq on a private plane.)

The group eventually left at 2: 30 a.m., flying a private jet back to Los Angeles.

For Disick, the day's guest list to his birthday was essentially perfect.

"The best gift is the support from my family and friends," he said, adding that he spent the day with his eldest son Mason, even taking him to a "boys' lunch." "I hung out with my son all day. He came to one of my friend's birthday lunches we had today for me and then. It's been good."

Disick will keep the birthday weekend rolling, hosting a party in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Saturday.

Former Glee star Mark Salling has been indicted for receiving and possessing child pornography.

The disgraced actor was arrested on 29 December (15) after police officers raided his home in Sunland, California following a a tip-off, and allegedly discovered "thousands" of inappropriate images on his personal devices, which were seized.

According to TMZ.com, Salling has been indicted on two counts of receiving and possessing child pornography.

If he is convicted, Salling will face up to 20 years in prison for receiving child pornography and 20 years for possessing it.

His December arrest was not his first brush with the law - he paid an ex-girlfriend $2.7 million (GBP1.8 million) for knocking her to the ground after she confronted him with a charge of sexual battery.

Salling has yet to address his arrest last year (15).

Beth Howland, who played the accident-prone waitress Vera Gorman on the '70s and '80s sitcom Alice, has died at the age of 74.

Howland died on Dec. 31, 2015, in Santa Monica, California, after a battle with lung cancer, husband Charles Kimbrough told the New York Times, noting that his wife did not want a memorial or funeral service.

"It was the Boston side of her personality coming out," Kimbrough said. "She didn't want to make a fuss."

He echoed the statement to the Associated Press, telling the news outlet that having no announcement or funeral was Howland's choice.

Although Howland was best-known for her portrayal as the high-anxiety, sometimes ditzy waitress, she also had small roles on The Love Boat, Little House on the Prairie, Murder, She Wrote, The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch along with a Broadway role alongside Dick Van Dyke in Bye Bye Birdie.

She earned four Golden Globe nominations during Alice's nine-year run from 1976–85.

Howland told the AP in 1979 that she and Vera shared some character traits: "I'm a little naïve sometimes but not as much as Vera. I guess I'm really a cynic."

Howland leaves behind her husband along with a daughter from her previous marriage to actor Michael J. Pollard.

Elijah Wood's long career in Hollywood, beginning when he was just 8, taught him that there "are a lot of vipers" in the industry, he told the Sunday Times in a new interview.
Wood compared unnamed child abuse allegations in America to the Jimmy Savile abuse scandal that rocked the United Kingdom after the longtime entertainer faced hundreds of sexual abuse allegations following his death (and thus his loss of protection from scrutiny).

There were shocks and surprises – and even talk of a renegade jury – at the closing ceremony for the 69th Cannes film festival. Few of the perceived favourites picked up prizes, while some movies derided as turkeys triumphed – and the one-award-per-movie rule also appeared to have been torn up.
Ken Loach won his second Palme d’Or – the festival’s highest honour – for I, Daniel Blake, a socio-realist drama about a disabled carpenter struggling with the red tape of the welfare system. The director, who turns 80 next month, returned from retirement to make the film, and took to the stage at the Palais to address the audience in French.

Crazy Actors That Nobody Wants To Work With

Crazy Actors That Nobody Wants To Work With.

It's said that performers are a whimsical, delicate pack. Some with fluctuating levels of commitment to their specialty. Since they're always attempting on new identities, it's not uncommon for the individual underneath to get somewhat odd after some time. Wether this is a result of technique acting, pretentiousness, or outright old terrible conduct.

HARRISON FORD:

Being a star accompanies some quite repetitive work. Doing press for a film here and there means sitting in a seat for 12 hours a day noting the same inquiries again and again. While a great deal of performers smile and bear it, showbiz rebel Harrison Ford picks the direct approach. Famously hard to meeting, Ford has clarified that he recently doesn't care for noting idiotic inquiries. Furthermore, given to what extent he's been in the business, what number of idiotic inquiries he more likely than not replied at this point, we can comprehend why. Typically the Star Wars performer saves snarky remarks for columnists, however has made extraordinary open special cases for Josh Hartnett and Kevin Smith. Furthermore, later, Indiana Jones co-star Shia LaBeouf.

CHRISTIAN BALE:

In 2009, the world took in a lesson: don't interfere with Christian Bale when he's working. One unfortunate group part on the arrangement of Terminator: Salvation discovered the most difficult way possible. At the point when the chief of photography occupied the on-screen character, Bale heaved a whirlwind of dangers and put-down at him. Sound of this collaboration released on the web, and others have since approached saying the on-screen character's force is unsettling. Parcel has following apologized for the upheaval, yet demands that keeping up a quality of secret is key to his art. He isn't in it to make companions, which is great since that Batman voice wasn't helping him.

Celebrity face tattoos

The celebrity face tattoos that make you question their owner's sanity

Last weekend, Justin Bieber shared a picture (second left) on his Instagram account that suggests that he has joined a very elite (and somewhat dubious) club of celebrities: those who have decided to get their faces tattooed.

Bieber's new ink, a small - almost invisible - cross at the corner of his eye, was apparently done at the West 4th Tattoo Parlor in New York City.
Celebrity tattoo artist Jonboy, who says he gave the 22-year old singer his first face tattoo, reported that the symbol "represents [Bieber's] journey in finding purpose with God.”

The actress was listed as a beneficiary of a company based in the British Virgin Islands, according to The Telegraph. However, a spokesman said: "Emma receives absolutely no tax or monetary advantages from this offshore company whatsoever - only privacy." He said Watson had had her personal safety "jeopardised" by companies publishing her details.
"UK companies are required to publicly publish details of their shareholders and therefore do not give her the necessary anonymity required to protect her personal safety, which has been jeopardised in the past owing to such information being publicly available," he told The Telegraph.
"Offshore companies do not publish these shareholder details."

Celebrities as child stars

how the famous faces transformed in the limelight

Holly Willougby has made a name for herself in the limelight thanks to her regular TV spots, on everything from This Morning to Surprise Surprise and Celebrity Juice.
But she looked totally different when she first started out, and we've caught a glimpse of her all those years ago in the video for S Club 7: Artistic Differences.
And she's not alone - there's a whole stream of child stars who look very different now.
Some have barely changed in the last few decades and seem to have found the key to eternal youth. Others are proof that it's possible to grow out of those awkward teenage years.
Here are more former child stars who look really different now...

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay from Parent Trap to now

She shot to fame playing the twins in Parent Trap - but seeing Lindsay now, she couldn't have changed more through the years.
Gone is that cute freckly face and short ginger hair, and she's grown out her locks and opted for heavy make-up, as she altered her appearance in the limelight.

Justin Timberlake

The star appeared on the TV shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child, before rising to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists of NSYNC in the 1990s.

Stars Celebrated Mother’s Day

How Kourtney Kardashian, Hillary Clinton and More Stars Celebrated Mother’s Day

Celebrities love Mother’s Day too! There’s plenty of proof of that on Instagram, where some new and veteran moms and kids posted photos showing their maternal love. Here are just a few of the best:

At the set of #taleoftales with my #daughter #valentina #happymothersday !!! In #usa #Queen #princess #happy #mother #daughter En el set de mi#pelicula con mi #hija Valentina. Feliz día de las madres.

To the most selfless person I know.... Mom, the words "I love you" are not adequate enough to express how grateful I am to be your daughter, how much you are appreciated or how much you will always mean to me, so I will simply say: Thank you mom for being my superhero, my inspiration, my miss fix it, my problem solver, my expert-in-everything, and most importantly my very best friend. I know your kids drive you insane but we all adore you endlessly and I can't imagine life without you!! You are my everything! I love you madly mama

Selena Gomez did not want her celebrity friends

Didn’t want celebrity friends on my tour.

Selena Gomez

Singer Selena Gomez says she did not want her celebrity friends to join on her “Revival” tour because she wants to be known for her solo music career rather than her association with them.

The 23-year-old songstress rejected the idea of being accompanied by her friends Cara Delevingne, Hailee Steinfeld, Gigi Hadid and the ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker on stage, because she doesn’t want her association with celebrity pals to detract from her as a musician, reported Entertainment Weekly.
